DVD Tube’s concept is simple and straightforward. A monthly membership that offers its subscribers over 4000 DVDs to download and view. However, it is in its execution that sets it apart from other sites. But before I get into an all out praise-fest for DVD tube let me get some of the nitty-gritty out of the way first.

Firstly, there is no gay specific porn, but there is bi-sexual porn. For a website that offers DVDs in every single niche I found this a little odd. Similarly, there is no anime or hentai (although it lists an ‘anime’ category in its directory). The membership is a little steep also at $40 US, even $35 would have been satisfactory. And since this is an all DVD site there are no images, image galleries, or digital pictures other than the DVD covers the site provides.

On that note, let me explain why this is such a fantastic site. The wide selection of DVDs aside, DVD Tube offers a wide range of features and options which could have easily lowered this site’s score if done haphazardly. Thankfully, this is not the case. Firstly, the search engine works great and allows the user to search movies either by DVD title, niche category, or by a specific pornstar. As well, the site provides separate categories that read ‘New Releases’ and ‘Most Downloaded DVDs’ respectively. It is also worth mentioning that the search results can be sorted by popularity, alphabetically, or by date released. Secondly, membership includes a folder that allows you to add your DVD favorites into a personal profile. Thirdly, once a movie is selected there are extensive production details given to the viewer. These include the DVD title, a long synopsis of the DVD, performers used, the director of the film, a production date, the length of the film, as well as the DVD front and back cover. But what really sets this site apart is the attention to detail when it comes to video formats and options.

Movies can be downloaded and streamed either as a whole or in parts. Furthermore, there are five options in which DVDs can be downloaded/streamed which include different speeds and resolutions. These are ‘dial-up’, ‘medium’, ‘high’, ‘ultra’, and ‘hi-def’. The site also offers scene pictures that allow the user to quickly stream to a specific scene.
